Villa Mariposa

Villa Mariposa is a Traditional Gladak Design villa part of our Catalogue of pre-designed villas built in Lombok. With a built process of less than a year, Villa Mariposa is the perfect example of 3 Bedroom size house with modern and tropical style architecture and the highest quality built.
Completed in early 2023 together with 5 other villas of the same development, and built to the highest standards, Villa Mariposa offers all the comforts of home in a tropical, modern oasis. High Ceilings, fully cross ventilated, open plan living areas to back and front garden, exposed wood beams and wooden work, open lush tropical gardens in all bathrooms, locally handcrafted furnishings are just some of the design highlights.
In terms of Sustainability, the clients was happy with us implementing all of our standard Sustainable Strategies to reduce the impact of the villa as much as possible.
We passively designed the villa where orientation, cross ventilation and low albedo materials play a huge role in the house to assure minimal thermal loads.
The pool uses an ioniser which reduces the need for chemicals and chlorine to almost zero, allowing for a safe back wash that doesn’t pollute the nearby river nor the ocean. The villa treats both grey and black water with a biosafe septic system.
On top of that, the villa includes a large 10.35 KW solar power system that exports to the National Grid to help reduce as much as possible its carbon footprint.
